Q: How long does shipping take?

A: We use First Class Mail via United States Postal Service. Standard delivery takes 5-7 days with tracking info provided to you. If you are looking to receive your package sooner, please email us at  info@lamorenaspice.com

Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm (HST) .

Q: How long does it take for my order to go out?

A: Orders are usually shipped within 24-48 hours of receipt. Orders placed after hours or over the weekend will be shipped out next business day.

Q: Which seasonings should I buy or start with?

A: If you are more of a home cook or just starting out, we recommend that you start with our House Bouillon, All Purpose Seasoning and our Taco Seasoning that could be used in combination with each other to make any dish flavorful. If grilling is your thing, then our Paniolo and Tex-Mex BBQ Rubs paired with our All Purpose Seasoning will make your next cookout one to remember.

Q: Why should I buy these when I can get them cheaper from somewhere else?

A: Yes you can find similar spices for a cheaper prices and will they will also probably be stored in plastic containers. Spices stored in plastic often have it’s chemicals leach into the spices and therefore you consume them. Many companies also use low grade spices and fillers so the product is cheaper to make. Anticaking agents and preservatives are commonly used which are not needed as spices are already in there preserved state. Our spices are high grade and carefully selected to ensure that no harmful chemicals were used while growing or processing each individual spices.  Majority of our spices are certified organic and all are sourced ethically. We do not use any fillers or preservatives and our containers are made of glass to ensure a long shelf life.

Q: Why glass bottles?

A: Glass, unlike plastic, does not contain any harmful chemicals such as BPA, phthalates, PVC or polycarbonate. Nothing can leach into what you're consuming from a glass bottle is also the best option to keep spices fresh longer. Unlike plastic, glass is not porous and keeps moisture out.

Q: When do my spices expire?

A: In a dry state, spices could last for years. We recommend that you use your seasonings within a year of purchase for optimal flavor.

Q: Why don’t you use preservatives?

A: Spices are considered to already be in a preserved state when dry so why add more? Spices were actually used to preserve certain foods when refrigeration was not available.

Q: Which one is best?

A: We have never had a complaint on any of our seasonings. Each blend has been created so that no one spice is overpowering but a nice even distribution of flavors. Given them a try, you won’t be disappointed.
